This writ of error brings up for review a judgment in favor of the defendant upon a verdict directed by the .judge in a suit to recover for personal injuries brought in the Hunterdon circuit.

The plaintiff below, Jacob Stassett, was in the employment of the defendant, an iron manufacturing company, and was *632hurt by the falling of a machine which he was engaged in removing from a railroad car to the ground.
