Defendant appeals a judgment of conviction for failing to obey a police officer, ORS 811.535, a traffic violation.1 Before he was charged with that traffic violation, defendant was charged with interfering with a peace officer, ORS 162.247, a misdemeanor,2 but that charge was dismissed on the state’s motion.
