This is a proceeding in the circuit court for Dane county to declare the respondent G. H. Milnes an insolvent, to appoint a receiver, and to set aside certain alleged preferences, and was brought under the provisions of ch. 334, Laws of 1891. The matter came before the court on an issue formed by the petition and the affidavits of the respondents.
