— This action was brought by the appellee against the appellant, under the act of March 11, 1901, (Acts 1901, p. 548, §7448a Burns 1901), to recover from the appellant the amount of wages assigned by one Walsh, an employe in a coal mine in this State, to the appellant, in consideration of the issue to him of four metallic tokens calling for and payable in goods at the store of the appellant in this State.
