Mason, J.:

On February 25, 1914, the tvife of A. B. Saffell died, holding a life insurance policy for $1,000 in which their four minor children — three sons and one daughter — were named as beneficiaries. Saffell was appointed guardian of the children. On March 26, 1914, he collected the insurance, amounting to $985.18. On September 3, 1915, Saffell died testate.
