Melton, Justice.
Following a jury trial, Jerrod Carter was found guilty of malice murder, armed robbery, and aggravated assault in connection with the shooting death of Lawrence Chambliss. On appeal Carter contends, among other things, that the evidence presented at trial was insufficient to support his convictions; that the trial court erred with respect to various evidentiary matters; and that the trial court erred in its charge to the jury. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
