MEMORANDUM OPINION

READY, Chief Judge.

This is a criminal prosecution against five defendants, James Albert King, Auther Larnce King, Charley Thomas Malone, Wallace Van Meter, Jr., and Edwin Dean Ward, on charges of conspiring to violate the federal liquor laws, illegally possessing nontax-paid whiskey, and illegally fermenting mash fit for distillation.1 All defendants have moved to suppress certain evidence on the ground that it is the fruit of an illegal search by state and federal officers.
