Salah Abdel-Aleem (Abdel-Aleem) was the defendant in a Massachusetts state court lawsuit prosecuted by OPK Biotech LLC. Alleging Massachusetts state law claims of abuse of process and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress as a result of that suit, Abdel-Aleem brought an action claiming diversity jurisdiction against OPK Biotech LLC, its CEO, Zafiris Zaflrelis, and its registered manager, Alexander Pugachev (collectively, OPK) 1 in federal district court.
