It appears from tbe record that a petition for habeas corpus was filed by Etta Eeed against the defendant to get possession of ber child; that tbe circuit judge rendered a judgment in ber favor; that tbe , defendant prayed an appeal, wbicb was granted on condition that he should execute an appeal bond or otherwise comply ydth tbe law, and be was allowed ten days in wbicb to file bis bill of exceptions.
