BROWN, District Judge.

The above libel was filed to recover the damages arising from a collision between the British brigantine R. ,L. T. .going southerly and the German steamship Oheruskia going westerly, which look place to (lie southward of Nantucket Shoals lightship in a low hut not very dense fog on (.he evening of July 4, i898, at about 9:15 p. m. The brigantine was struck on her port quarter a little aft of the main rigging by the stem of the steamer v'ithin two or three points of a right angle.
