11 Linda M. Potier sued Morris. Bart, LLC, her former personal injury attorney, for malpractice, contending that it breached the applicable standard of care in connection with its securing of a settlement agreement on her behalf. In response, Morris Bart invoked a binding arbitration clause found within its attorney-client contract with Ms. Potier. In opposing Morris Bart’s request, Ms. Potier argued that the attorney-client contract was adhesionary, and thus unenforceable.
