The defendants were convicted under an indictment charging them as employes of the Federal Reserve P>ank of Philadelphia with conspiring together to commit the offenses under section 5209, Revised Statutes (as amended by Act Sept. 26, 1918 [Comp. St. Ann. Supp. 1919, § 9772], extending the provisions of that section to federal reserve banks), of embezzling, abstracting, and willfully misapplying the funds and credits of the bank, and of making false entries, with intent to injure and defraud the bank.
