Deryk Jackson was convicted of aggravated assault and reckless conduct, and he appeals from the trial court’s denial of his motion for a new trial.

Construed to support the jury’s verdict, the evidence adduced at trial showed that Darrell Austin had gone to visit his young son at an apartment complex in Columbus and became involved in an argument with his son’s mother. When the argument spread to include her current boyfriend, who was appellant’s cousin, several people were nearby, including appellant and his brother Terrance.
