OPINION BY GANTMAN, P.J.:

Appellant, Joel Ballance, purports to appeal nunc pro tunc from the judgment of sentence entered in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, after the court granted in part Appellant's petition filed under the Post Conviction Relief Act ("PCRA") at 42 Pa.C.S.A. §§ 9541 - 9546, and restored his right to file a direct appeal. We hold that the PCRA court had no *1030 jurisdiction to reinstate Appellant's direct appeal rights nunc pro tunc .
