Defendant Christian Paulino appeals from a judgment of conviction entered on May 10, 2004, following a jury trial in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Denise Cote, Judge) at which he was found guilty on the sole charge of possessing cocaine with intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 812, 841(a)(1), 841(b)(1)(C). Sentenced to a 96-month term of incarceration, which he is presently serving, as well as six years’ supervised release and a $100 special assessment, Paulino challenges his conviction on the following…
