I,The State of Louisiana appeals the granting of the defendant Wayne J. Cut-no’s motion to quash the bill of information charging him with possession of cocaine.

The defendant was originally charged by bill of information on November 22, 2006, with possession of cocaine, a violation of La. R.S. 40:967(0(2). The defendant pleaded not guilty at his December 18, 2006 arraignment. On January 25, 2007, the defendant appeared for a hearing on motions, but the trial court reset it to *424January 29, 2007.
