This is an appeal by the respondent and its insurance carrier from an order of the district court affirming an award to an employee under the workmen’s compensation act. The only questions presented are (1) whether there was substantial competent evidence presented by the record to sustain the employee’s position that he met with a compensable accident on January 8, 1958, and (2) whether the claim was made as required by law.
