MEMORANDUM OPINION REGARDING MOTION FOR SUBSTANTIVE CONSOLIDATION

PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND
Between March 25, 1985 and May 31, 1985, the eighty-five above-referenced partnerships filed voluntary petitions under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. Donald R. Walker (“Walker”), a Dallas real estate developer and syndicator, was the individual general partner for each of the partnerships.
