Gary R. Heitzman sued his stepbrother, Harlan Thompson; Dale B. Meyer; and Cynthia Struve for intentional infliction of emotional distress. The claim arose when Thompson, a licensed funeral director, transported and embalmed the body of Heitzman’s father without notifying him. The district court sustained Thompson’s demurrer and dismissed the petition because it lacked sufficient facts to state a cause of action. Heitzman appeals.
