COMBS, Justice.

This is an appelal from a judgment in the amount of $500 entered on a jury’s verdict in favor of appellee in an action for personal injuries.

The Kroger Grocery and Baking Company operates a self-service grocery store in Lexington. Major Lee, the other appellant, was the store manager at the time appellee claims to have been injured. Ap-pellee and her husband went into the store for the purpose of .buying groceries.
