Commonwealth v. Ianello

Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court

Decided December 9, 1987PublishedCited by 53 opinions

1Opinion of the CourtNolan, J.

From his conviction of forcible rape of a child under sixteen years of age (G. L. c. 265, § 22A [1986 ed.]) and of indecent assault and battery on a child under fourteen (G. L. c. 265, § 13B [1986 ed.]), the defendant appeals. We allowed the defendant’s application for direct appellate review. He raises two issues: (1) the denial of his motion to dismiss the indictments on the ground of prosecutorial misconduct, and (2) the correctness of the judge’s exclusion of expert testimony on the credibility of a child victim of sexual abuse. We affirm the convictions.
