1Per curiam

At issue in this case is the government’s liability for up to 30 days of skilled nursing services available under the Medicare program. 1 See 42 U.S.C. §§ 1395d(a)(2)(A), 1395x(h); 42 C.F.R. § 409.20. After considering the applicable standard of review for the decision of the Secretary of HHS, we conclude that the denial of additional benefits was supported by substantial evidence. The judgment of the district court is affirmed.

The outcome of this case does not depend upon the standard employed by this court to review HHS’s Medicare treatment decisions concerning individual patients.…
