Plaintiff in error brought an action in the Superior Court of Cook county to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by him while in the employ of the defendant in the city of Chicago. Upon a trial, the jury returned a verdict in his favor for $1500, whereupon defendant in error entered his motion for a new trial, which was subsequently overruled by the court.
