OPINION AND ORDER

SCHEINDLIN, District Judge.

Plaintiff Katharine Lai filed a Complaint on April 8,1997, alleging that defendant New York City (“the City”) had violated her rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (“the ADA”), 42 U.S.C.A. § 12132 (1997). On October 14, 1997, plaintiff moved to amend the Complaint. Apparently in anticipation of this motion being granted, plaintiff filed an amended Complaint, which adds two new plaintiffs and a claim under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On December 12, 1997, the City moved for summary judgment pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 56. I need not…
