Mr. Justice Maxey,

The appellants are members of St. Mary’s Greek Catholic Church of McKees Bocks (hereinafter referred to as St. Mary’s Church). On March 3, 1937, they filed a bill in equity to restrain the officers of that church from interfering with Bev. Peter Oleksiw in the performance of his duties “as the regularly appointed pastor of said church, and from installing any other person as pastor of said church.” They asked the court to direct the defendants to maintain and keep the property of that church for the worship of God according to the principles, doctrines and usages…
