Greater Savannah Lawn Care filed a negligence action against Johnson County School District (JCSD) and a JCSD employee, Annie Young. Greater Savannah alleged that on March 15, 2002, one of its employees was driving the company truck in the same direction that Young was driving a JCSD van; that Young made an improper lane change; that, while maneuvering the company truck to avoid colliding with Young, its employee lost control of the truck and wrecked it.
