DOUCET, Judge.

These two consolidated suits involve claims for damages arising from injuries suffered as a result of a two-car collision which occurred on November 14, 1981, at approximately 8:00 P.M. The facts show that plaintiff, Altonette Davis Turner, was driving her 1977 Datsun 2-door automobile in an easterly direction on Woodyard Drive in Natchitoches, La. When plaintiff reachéd the intersection of Woodyard Drive and Highway One South, she stopped her automobile and observed the traffic conditions.
