This appeal involves claims based on the international sex trafficking of children. Appellees-Plaintiffs A, B, C, and D (collectively “the plaintiffs”) sued Appellants-Defendants Richard W. Schair (“Schair”), a United -States citizen, and his company, Wei>-A-Line Tours, LLC, (collectively “the defendants”) for coercing the plaintiffs into performing sexual acts with defendant Schair and his clients, in violation of the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000, 18 U.S.C. § 1591, et seq.
