We granted appellant-former husband’s application for discretionary appeal of an order of the superior court finding him in wilful contempt for failure to pay his support obligations under the parties’ divorce decree and awarding attorney fees to appellee-former wife.

The parties were divorced in 1989. In pertinent part, their divorce decree, which incorporates an agreement of the parties, requires appellant to pay $542.28 per week in child support, $1,570 per month in alimony, $1,529.70 per month toward the mortgage on the marital residence, and medical expenses for…
