The principal issue in this appeal by the appellant, Kenneth S. Marsh, is whether the Circuit Court of Harrison County erred in ordering the reduction in child support payments to commence on October 1, 1988, rather than on June 3, 1987, the date the petition was filed, or on December 10,1987, the date of the last hearing. The appellant also contends that the circuit court erred in granting the appellee, Bonnie L.
