The motion before this Court tells a story of a man and his dog, and it asks whether their actions violated the Fourth Amendment. The man is Town of Tona-wanda Police Officer Brent Costello. The dog is Tank, a “dual purpose” service K-9 trained to track suspects and detect narcotics.
