This is a bill in chancery filed by appellee, Martha Isabella Ashby, and her husband, in the circuit .court of Cook county to enforce the specific performance of a contract for the sale of real estate by appellee to appellant. The property is known as lots 39 and 40, block 25, of the West Chicago Land Company’s subdivision of the city of Chicago. Appellee claimed to own the real estate and entered into a written contract to sell it to appellant for $750.
