Petitioners Thornhill Group, Inc. (“Thorn-hill Group”) and Wally L. Thornhill seek a writ of prohibition in connection with the December 16, 2013, ruling of the Circuit Court of Kanawha County denying their motion to dismiss for improper venue. Given that the petitioners — defendants below — are either residents of or have their principal place of business in Logan County and all the relevant factual events alleged by respondent George A.
