George and Margaret Crawford filed their equitable petition against J. A. Parker, administrator of W. C. Parker, and against Hughes, sheriff, alleging that their mother died intestate in December, 1872, leaving them a large estate consisting of realty and personalty; that their father, George G. Crawford, was appointed their *157guardian and took possession of said estate; that he managed and controlled it in his individual capacity; that in 1880 he purchased of W. C.
