The motion in this case is founded upon a bill filed to carry into execution a decree of the court, rendered against the defendants at the adjourned term in May, 1852, which decree declared the bridge errected by them across the Ohio River, between Wheeling and Zane’s Island, to be an obstruction of the free navigation of the said river, and thereby occasioned a special damage to the plaintiff, for which- there was not an adequate remedy at law, and directed that the obstruction be removed, either by elevating the bridge to a height…
