This was an action on a promissory note, commenced by the defendant in error, plaintiff below, against the plaintiff in error, defendant below. The defendant answered, alleging, in substance: That said note was executed and delivered by defendant to plaintiff in consideration for goods, wares, and merchandise sold and delivered by plaintiff to defendant, consisting of buggies and vehicles, manufactured and made by the plaintiff. That at the time said goods were sold to the defendant the plaintiff executed a written guaranty, as follows:
