ARNOLD, Judge.
The plaintiff contends that the trial court erred in finding and concluding that plaintiffs stock in Jefferson Jazz, Inc., and his real property in Cabarrus County are marital property within the meaning of the Equitable Distribution Act. The plaintiff argues that such property was acquired after the separation of the parties, and that therefore under G.S. 50-20(b)(l), as amended in 1983, it is not “marital property.”
