Jackie R. Damone (“Damone”) appeals from the district court judgment dismissing his petition for a writ of habeas corpus and mandamus. For the following reasons, we affirm.
Facts and Procedural History
In 1968, Damone pled guilty to a murder committed on April 1, 1967. On May 24, 1968, he was sentenced to serve the balance of his natural life at hard labor.
