Judgment, Supreme Court, Bronx County (Martin Marcus, J.), rendered May 8, 1997, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of attempted murder in the first degree (two counts) and robbery in the first degree, and sentencing him, as a persistent violent felony offender, to two concurrent terms of 20 years to life consecutive to a term of 15 years to life, respectively, unanimously affirmed.

The verdict was based on legally sufficient evidence and was not against the weight of the evidence. With respect to the attempted murder conviction, defendant’s homicidal intent was clearly established by…
