Appellant filed suit against respondents (husband and wife) to recover $1600 for damages to appellant's truck resulting from a collision between the truck and the car in which respondents were riding. The car was owned and driven by respondent Brookings Montgomery who filed a counterclaim to recover $1500 damages to his car and $5,000 for personal injuries. Mrs. Montgomery counterclaimed for $15,000 for personal injuries. The jury found against appellant on its claim for damages to the truck and found for Brookings Montgomery on his counterclaim in the sum of $1500 for damages to his car and…
