| ] Plaintiff, Mother of Eden, LLC (“Eden”), attempted to obtain a preliminary injunction against Defendant, Chris Thomas, after Thomas allegedly made defamatory statements about Eden’s CEO to the company’s customers and retailers. When Eden’s attorney failed to appear at the injunction hearing, the trial court sustained Thomas’ Exception of No Cause of Action (“Exception”), dismissed the Petition for Injunction (“Petition”), and awarded sanctions and attorney fees to Thomas.
