The jury having awarded plaintiff a
verdict for the sum of $513.50, the amount claimed by the plaintiff, which was paid upon demand to the defendant under protest, defendant thereupon moved to set aside the verdict and for a new trial, for the reason that the court was without jurisdiction of the subject matter involved herein.
