SILBERMAN, Judge.

Benjamin Rodriguez appeals the denial of his motion alleging ineffective assistance of counsel, filed pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.850. Rodriguez was originally charged with second-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm. Pursuant to a negotiated plea, Rodriguez pleaded guilty to the felon in possession charge in exchange for the State’s agreement to drop the second-degree murder charge.
