Appellant was convicted by a jury of child molestation and appeals from the denial of his motion for new trial.

1. Appellant first contends that the trial court erred in denying his motion for a continuance to enable him to develop an alibi defense. The indictment issued against appellant charged that the crime occurred on June 3, 1988.
