Although I join Judge Pell’s majority opinion, I write separately to comment on his statement that a district judge's finding in a trademark or other intellectual-property case that the plaintiff was or was not guilty of laches is reversible only for a “clear abuse of discretion.” Many such cases in this and other circuits so state *936(sometimes without the “clear”).
