Dwight Alen filed a § 1983 suit against Dennis Avance, Captain and Jail Adminis trator for Garvin County Sheriffs Office, alleging that Avance violated his constitutional rights while Allen was a pretrial detainee in Garvin County Jail. He claims that he was locked in the county jail “drunk tank” for approximately twelve days without any bedding, mattress, or toiletries in retaliation for his decision to file an administrative grievance.
