FINAL COPY S21A0706. WILLERSON v. THE STATE. LAGRUA, Justice. Bryant Willerson was convicted of murder in connection with the beating death of William McClain. On appeal, Willerson contends that the evidence presented at his trial was insufficient to find him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of the crime of which he was convicted. He also argues that his trial counsel rendered constitutionally ineffective assistance for failing to properly impeach a witness.
