This case involves the construction of the terms of a lease of mineral rights to kaolin clay on appellant’s property in Wilkinson County.

The Middle Georgia area is the major source of kaolin production in the United States. Over 90 percent of all kaolin clay produced in the United States is from Georgia, and about 50 percent of the world’s production comes from this state.
