The jury were authorized to find that the accused, Chestee Jackson, along with Otis Jackson and several others, were visiting in the home of one Bertha Lawson. While there, the accused and Otis Jackson got into a heated argument about some girl. During said argument both the accused and Otis Jackson cursed each other several times, and Otis Jackson threw a rock at the accused.
