This action was instituted by the three plaintiffs named therein to collect from the defendant as treasurer of the state, taxes paid under protest which the plaintiffs claim were illegally collected.

The three plaintiffs are corporations organized under the laws of this state, and during all of the times mentioned herein, the plaintiff Corporation of America was doing business in this state, and during all the times mentioned herein since the first day of November, 1930, the plaintiff Bankameriea Company was doing business in this state, and during all of said times since the twenty-eighth day…
